Nigerian Refs Miss CAF Largesse As Body Place 24 On Payroll, Attend Courses

The names of Nigerian referees were conspicuously missing from the list of professional referees released by the Confederation of African Football ( CAF), BSNSports.com.ng reports.
The football body under Patrice Motsepe earlier in the year confirmed that some selected referees will be put on courses and placed on the payroll of CAF.
The list was out on Tuesday morning and no Nigerian referee made the final cut. CAF selected 24 referees consisting of 19 men and 5 women, and they will undergo a course starting from the 27th of November to the 4th of December.

Ibrahim Mutaz ( Libya), Guylain Pierre Atcho ( Gabon), Ghorbal Mustapha ( Algeria), Mahmood Ali Mahmood ( Sudan), Jean Jacques Ndala Ngambo ( DR Congo), Abongile Tom ( South Africa), Pacifique Ndabihawenimana ( Burundi), Traore Ibrahim Kalilou ( CIV), Samuel Uwikunda ( EQ), Omar Abdulkadir Artan ( Djibouti), Peter Waweru Kamaku ( Malawi), Djindo Louis Houngnandande ( Madagascar), Amin Mohamed Amin Omar ( Egypt), Jalal Jayed ( Morocco), Allaou Alhadji Mahamat, Bouchra Karboubi (female) ( Morocco), Daniel Laryea ( Ghana), Amedome Vincentia (female), Boubou Traore ( Mali), Akhona Zenith Makalima (female) ( South Africa), Issa Sy ( Senegal), Antsino Twanyanyukwa (female), Dahane Beida ( Mauritania), and Shamirah Nabadda (female) ( Mozambique).
