Nigerian Striker Joins Liga Portuguese Two Club

Ahead the commencement of the new Liga Portuguese 2 season, Varzim has boost it's striking options with the signing of Nigerian striker Onyeka Oseme, reports BSNSports.com.ng.

Onyeka, 27-year-old heads to Póvoa de Varzim after two and a half seasons with Canelas, where he played in 52 games, scored 12 goals and provided four assists.

Onyeka who is well known to Tiago Margarido, guided him at the Gaiense and now wants his contribution again at Varzim.

André Geraldes, the new director of Varzim has been very active with the club as it surgically make the most in the market after the Nigerian became the the 14th reinforcement for Varzim.

Before Onyeka, the club had already secured the acquisitions of João Sidónio (central defender, ex-Fafe), Julián Bonilla (central defender, ex-Oliveira do Hospital), João Faria (central defender, ex-UD Oliveirense ), Bruno Bernardo (central defender, ex-Vitória de Setúbal), Carlos Tovar (left side, ex-Fafe), Rúben Gonçalves (midfielder, ex-Vitória de Setúbal), Latón (midfielder, ex-Estrela da Amadora), Diogo Ramalho (midfielder, ex-Lça), Jorge Vilela (midfielder, ex-Portimonense) and Rodrigo Cordeiro (winger, ex-Fafe).
