Nigerian Winger Elated After Ghana FA Cup Triumph With Asante Kotoko

Nigerian winger Wisdom Fernando is overjoyed after helping Asante Kotoko lift the Ghana FA Cup, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

Asante Kotoko defeated Golden Kick FC 2-1 in Sunday’s final, held at the University of Ghana Stadium in Accra.

The Porcupine Warriors secured their 10th FA Cup title with the hard-fought win.

Fernando was on the pitch for the full 90 minutes and later celebrated his team’s triumph on social media.

“Champions… What a way to finish the season. Grateful for every moment, every support, every challenge. This one means a lot! Thank you, AKSC,” he wrote on X.

This marks the second major trophy of Fernando’s career, following his NPFL title win with Akwa United in 2021.
