Nigerian prodigy Akinkunmi suffers injury at FC Copenhagen training camp

Danish champions FC Copenhagen informed on Tuesday morning that Super Eagles hopeful Akinkunmi Amoo is out of action for the next while, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

The talented winger was not involved in FC Copenhagen's two pre-season matches against against Feyenoord and Club Brugge because he suffered an injury at FCK's training camp in the Netherlands.

The 20-year-old Nigerian played 45 minutes of the training match against Silkeborg on 27 June and is now retraining at Number 10 together with the health staff.

Signed from Allsvenskan side Hammarby in the winter transfer market, Amoo has had stint with FC Copenhagen, making just two appearances since he landed in Denmark.
