Football loving Nigerians are still unhappy with the Super Eagles and the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) following their failure to qualify for the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar, BSNSports.com.ng can report.

Super Eagles played a 0-0 draw at the Baba Yara Stadium in Kumasi, Ghana and were knocked out by Ghana on away goal rule after a 1-1 draw in Nigeria in the World Cup playoff.

Though, no coach has been appointed to take over from the former coach, Austine Eguavoen but the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) has lined up a warm-up match ahead of the 2023 African Cup of Nations qualifiers.

Reacting to the friendly match, Nigerians could not hide their displeasures regarding the not-too-good performance against Ghana.

Here are some of the comments from the Facebook page of the Nigeria Super Eagles.

A Facebook user, Kelvin Ogbeide, asked If the friendly match can overturn the decision of not qualifying for the World Cup.

"I guess this match will reverse the qualification to Qatar right....super jokers!

Another Facebook user, Chris Obi Moses took a jibe at the team, he said. ".Lol...Friendly games are your portions??? Good teams are going to World Cup you guys are busy playing friendly games. Friendly games in preparation for friendly games or for which competition?"

"If una like make una play Brazil and Barcelona at a time, I swear I no go watch!!!" Allo Socanth, stated.

"That's YOUR LEVEL. YOU CAN EVEN PLAY WITH ITALY. GHANA IS FLYING AT A HIGH ALTITUDE." Adam Samuel

"And qualify for Qatar as a reserve playing country? Salifu Isah, asked.

Peter Ibezim said nothing much Is expected from the team as long as Amaju Pinnick remains the NFF President. "As long as Pinnick remains the Chairman, we dont care! He should continue his recycling of failed coaches ."

Obaseki Uyiosa, said, "Nobody cares anymore. That is the Naija spirit for you. We don't suffer fools gladly. You guys are a bunch of jokes. Let Amaju Pinnick vacate that seat before sanity can return to Nigeria football."

"Bunch of chickens. We want pinnick gone biko. International friendly materials for serious countries going to the world cup. Are you not even ashamed." Akinsola Ayodeji said.
