Nigerians Should Expect An Improved Performance Against Ivory Coast - Akpeyi

Moroka Swallows goalkeeper Daniel Akpeyi has told Nigerians to expect an improved performance from the Super Eagles against Ivory Coast, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

The Nigerian side produced an uninspiring performance against Equatorial Guinea but Akpeyi believes the team will be better against the Elephant.

“There could be a lot of improvement to the team going to the next game against Ivory Coast, which is going to be another difficult task to face, but I believe in the boys. They are big players and they know what they want. 

“They also know the nation is backing them because they have seen a lot of disappointing results from the team in recent times", he told Time Live.

The game is slated for Alassanne Quattarra Stadium in Ebimpe on Thursday.
