Nimrod Bags Blueprint's Sports Administrator of The Year

Following his exceptional contribution to the development of Sports especially his footprint in Volleyball sport in the country, the President of Nigeria Volleyball Federation NVF, Engr. Musa Nimrod has been honoured with Nigeria Blueprint Newspaper Sports Administrator of the Year Award.

The award was presented to Engr. Nimrod at the Blueprint Awards and Public Lecture held on Tuesday in Abuja where he vowed to leave no stone unturned to ensure many Nigeria youth achieve their desire in Life.

According to the elated Nimrod, I want to appreciate Blueprint Newspaper for recognizing the effort I have been putting, I never knew people are monitoring me. I am excited.

“I will continue to help the youth of this country my desire is to help the youth of this country I don’t want to know what part of Nigeria you come from and that why we don’t select players based on sentiment but based on performance.”

Speaking on the Africa Volleyball Championship going on in Tunisia, the Volleyball Federation President revealed that his desire is for team Nigeria to secure world championship ticket.

“I have told them all I want is a world championship ticket that is what I want from the team, to get an under 21 world championship ticket, if they win the under 21 trophy I will be the happiest person but all I want is to let them get the world championship ticket. That is my desire.
