The Nnamdi Azikiwe Stadium in Enugu is undergoing massive renovation ahead of the 2026/27 Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) season and the CAF Champions League, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

The renovation project is expected to be completed by November 2026 as efforts continue to upgrade the facility to meet the required standards for domestic and continental competitions.

Enugu Rangers, who will represent Nigeria in the CAF Champions League, are expected to use the MKO Abiola Stadium in Abuja as their temporary home while renovation work continues at the Nnamdi Azikiwe Stadium.

The Flying Antelopes will return to Enugu once the renovation is completed and the stadium is cleared for use.

The development is expected to provide Rangers with an improved home ground as they prepare for another demanding domestic and continental campaign.
