No Casualties as Bayelsa United Team Bus Suffers Tyre Failure

Bayelsa United’s team bus was involved in a serious road incident on the Abuja–Kano highway while the team was travelling for their Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) Matchday 22 fixture against Barau FC, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

According to reports, one of the tyres detached from the bus while it was in motion, triggering panic among the players and team officials on board. The situation was brought under control after the driver managed to regain control of the vehicle.

No fatalities were recorded in the incident. All players and officials have been confirmed safe and accounted for, with no serious injuries sustained.

The club has not yet released further details regarding the condition of the vehicle or any adjustments to travel arrangements ahead of the Matchday 22 encounter.
