No Newcastle Offer For Boniface – Bild

German football outlet Bild has refuted claims that English Premier League side Newcastle United has made an offer for Nigerian striker Victor Boniface, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

Despite his failed transfer to Saudi Arabian club Al-Nassr, Boniface remains a hot topic in the transfer market.

However, Bild has made it clear that Newcastle has not approached Bayer Leverkusen regarding the forward.

"Boniface is happy at Bayer Leverkusen, despite his near move to Al-Nassr during the winter transfer window before the deal collapsed at the last minute," the report stated.

The 24-year-old has since responded in style, scoring in Leverkusen’s matches against Köln and Hoffenheim following the failed transfer.
