No Winner, No Vanquish, Basketball Wins - Says Musa Kida As Ministry Inaugurates NBBF Board

The President of Nigeria Basketball Federation (NBBF), Musa Kida has stated that there is no winner nor loser as he declared to bring on board all aggrieved but useful basketball stakeholders.

Kida, who was voted for the second consecutive time as NBBF President in Benin City, Edo State added that the board is set to ammend statute as requested by some stakeholders.

Speaking during the inauguration by the Ministry of Sports in Abuja, Kida also thanked President Muhammadu Buhari for approving N25m for D'Tigress for winning the Afrobasket in Cameroon.

He said, "The NBBF Board thanks President Muhammadu Buhari for approving N25m for D'Tigress. We also appreciate President's flexibility for Nigeria to return back to international Basketball

With what the NBBF has faced in recent time, there is no Winner, no vanquish. Basketball Wins

"The situation after the elections have created set-back for the growth and development of the game in Nigeria

We have resolved to bring everyone to be on Board.

He also stated that the board is set to ammend the statute.

"We are not oblivious of the of the imperfection of the statute which will be done at the next Annual General Assembly.

We will ensure the development of basketball from the grassroots and get back stronger in international. He concluded.
