Nottingham Forest Gives Injury Update On Awoniyi

Ahead of their Premier League game against Everton FC, boss of Nottingham Forest Steve Cooper has given an update on the injured Nigeria international Taiwo Awoniyi, BSNSports.com.ng has gathered.

The energetic attacker joined Forest last summer transfer from German Bundesliga club Union Berlin.

He quickly made an impact in the team leading them to their first victory in the season against West Ham United before he got injured against Southampton.

Cooper while speaking on the game against the Toffees, said Awoniyi is progressing well.

"Taiwo Awoniyi is progressing well, he works on the grass and comes back running. He's not with the team yet and isn't kicking any balls, but he's making progress which is good for him,” said Cooper.
