Nottingham Forrest are reportedly leading the race to sign Joe Aribo, BSNSports.com.ng reports.
The Rangers midfielder is attracting major interest from English Premier League sides ahead of a decisive summer.
This morning they secured the signing of Aribo's international teammate Taiwo Awoniyi from Union Berlin for £17million.
Now, it's said they will turn their attentions to signing Aribo from Rangers.
Aribo is entering the final 12-months of his Ibrox contract, with his representatives apparently making it clear he won't sign a new deal.
Aribo's contract at Ibrox expires at the end of the 2022/23 season and Rangers could be enticed into selling during this transfer window, to avoid losing him for a free next summer.
He joined Rangers from Charlton in the summer of 2019 for just £300,000, so should the club sell him, they'll be in line to make a large profit.
