Nottingham Forest Women have officially parted ways with Nigerian forward Joy Omewa after the conclusion of her loan spell from Danish club Fortuna Hjørring, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

The Super Falcons attacker joined the English side on a temporary deal earlier in the season and made a positive impression during her time at the club. 

Forest confirmed her exit on their official social media channels as part of the club’s routine end-of-season squad update.

Omewa arrived in England with an impressive pedigree, having scored an outstanding 52 goals in 85 appearances for Fortuna Hjørring in Denmark.

 Her consistent goal-scoring form has established her as one of the most promising Nigerian talents in the women’s game.

With her loan now complete, the Nigerian international is expected to return to her parent club in Denmark.

 However, she is widely anticipated to explore permanent transfer opportunities during the upcoming summer window.
