Nwagua's Goal-Scoring Form Excites Eguma

Technical Adviser of Rivers United, Stanley Eguma has hailed the goal scoring form of his captain, Nyima Nwagua after he scored in back-to-back matches, BSNSports.com.ng reports. 

Nwagua was on the scoresheet in their two-nil victory over Bayelsa United in a rescheduled Nigeria Premier Football League game and scored the winner over Club Africain in the CAF Confederation Cup.

Eguma noted that any player can score in the team adding that the team has been working on how the attackers can score goals.

He said: "Nwagua has found his scoring form. He scored in the continent and scored again in the league. That's what we expect in the game because we are working on how the attackers will score goals. It has started yielding evidence.

"We are training as a team. Everybody is training to score. Sometimes, when our transition is in attack, everybody becomes attacking minded and have the awareness to attack. 

"Last season Ebube Duru was a scorer but a defender. That's how we build our team in such a way anybody could be scoring but we expect the attackers to score."
