Nwakaeme Wants Trabzonspor Return Following Edin Visca's Injury

Super Eagles striker, Anthony Nwakaeme could a return to his former Turkish Super Lig side, Trabzonspor following the unfortunate injury sustained by Edin Visca, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

Visca was stretched off in the 40th minute after the injury in Trabzonspor lone goal win over Hatayspor on Friday evening, and was taken to the hospital by a waiting ambulance.

Scan done on him at the hospital revealed that a fracture occurred in his humerus bone.

In a statement at the end of the match, Trabzonspor Technical Director Abdullah Avci said, "The injury on Edin is  very sad. He is a very good professional, sad he has a broken arm. I can't tell the time of his recovery. It's a minimum of 3-4 months. It's a matter of talking about how the process will go." 

Nwakaeme, who allegedly wanted a return to Trabzonspor, came back to the agenda after Visca's injury. 

It has been claimed that Anthony Nwakame, who has been linked with Galatasaray, had a great regret leaving Trabzonspor after negotiations for a contract extension with the club was put off after both failed to agree on terms.

Zeki Uzundurukan, a Turkish Sports Journalist said in a programme on A Spor: "Nwakaeme wants to return to Trabzonspor. He regrets not extending the contract." he made the statement.

The Nigerian star who won 3 trophies with Trabzonspor, was signed at the beginning of the 2018-2019 season from Israeli side Beer Sheva for €1.1 million Euros, and went on to score 47 goals, made 49 assists in 144 matches in four seasons.
