OFFICIAL: Baba Ganaru Unveiled As Gombe United Head Coach

Gombe United has unveiled  Mohammed Baba Ganaru as the new head coach of the club, ahead of the 2023/24 Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) season, BSNSports. com. ng reports. 

The former Lobi Stars coach replaced Aliyu Zubairu after he left the club following the expiration of his contract last season. 

Baba Ganaru, last season led Lobi Stars to a second-placed finish, in Group B, during the 2022/23 NPFL Abridge League season, where they finished behind Rivers United, before taking part in the NPFL Championship playoff. 

The experienced gaffer left the Makurdi-based club after his contract could not be renewed by Lobi Stars management. 

Baba Ganaru and his Gombe United new-look side will be on the road, in their first game of the season, away to newly-promoted side Sporting Lagos, on September 17, 2023.
