OFFICIAL: Ex-Heartland Forward Joins Rangers On Free Transfer

Rangers International have completed the signing of former Heartland FC and Abia Warriors forward, Josiah Michael, on a free transfer ahead of the 2023/24 Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) season,BSNSports.com.ng reports. 

The experienced forward signed a one-year deal with the Flying Antelopes, until the end of the season after he joined the Fidelis IIechukwu-led side from NNL side Yobe Desert Stars.

Josiah, previously featured for some NPFL teams in the past, Heartland FC, Abia Warriors, and Lobi Stars, before he left the country in 2015, to join Bahrain outfit Sitra Club Bahrain.

He will now become the 11th player to move to Rangers in this off-season transfer window, after Ifeanyi Ogba, Arunta Elmer, Ifeanyi Onyebuchi, Ikenna Stephen, Chukwuemeka Onyia, Emmanuel Jonas, and Chinedu Ibe are some of the players that joined the team ahead of the new season. 

Rangers International is expected to challenge for the NPFL league title when the season commences in the coming weeks.
