OFFICIAL: Former Dakkada FC Defender Joins Iraqi club Al Najaf On One-year Deal

Iraqi Premier League club Al Najaf has completed the signing of Ekerette Udom from NPFL side Sunshine Stars FC, on a free transfer, BSNSports.com.ng reports. 

The former Dakkada FC defender, played a huge role in helping Sunshine Stars FC qualify for the NPFL Championship playoff, in Lagos last season in his debut season for the Edith Agoye boys.

The young defender signed a year deal with the Iraqi Premier League side to become only the 3rd foreign player at the club for the new season.

Ekerette is expected to help Al Najaf perform better this season, after finishing 7th in the 20-team format Iraqi Premier League last season.
