OFFICIAL:Rangers Signs Onyia From Wikki Tourist On Two-year Deal

Rangers International has completed the signing of goalkeeper Chukwuemeka Onyia from relegated Wikki Tourists on a free transfer, BSNSports.com.ng reports. 

The goalkeeper signed a two-year deal with the Fidelis IIechukwu-led side, to become the second goalkeeper to join the team after Opubo Japhet, who signed on a free transfer from Sunshine Stars. 

Speaking shortly after the completion of his transfer, Chukwuemeka expressed that he was happy to join one of the biggest football clubs in the league.

"Thank you for gathering here today, " Chukwuemeka said. 

"I'm deeply honored to stand here before you as the newest member of Rangers. This moment means the world to me," he concludes. 

The Flying Anteoples has been active during the just concluded NPFL transfer window with other eight new signings, which include, center-back Ifeanyi Onyebuchi (Plateau United) right-back Ikenna Stephen (Abia Warriors) midfielders Isaac Saviour (Vandrezzer FC), Chinedu Ibe (Nasarawa United. 

Forward Ifeanyi Ogba (Akwa United), wingers Kelechi Edeh (MTA Sports), and Arunta Elmer (Heartland FC).
