Ochonogor Qualifies For NCAA Championships In Long Jump

Nigeria’s rising athletics star Prestina Ochonogor has secured qualification for the NCAA Championships in the women’s long jump after an impressive outing at the NCAA West Regionals in Arkansas, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

Ochonogor booked her place at the prestigious championships with a leap of 6.51m aided by a +0.7 wind reading on her second attempt during the competition.

The talented jumper will now return to Eugene, Oregon for her second consecutive appearance at the NCAA Championships, continuing her steady rise in collegiate athletics.

Her qualification adds to the growing list of Nigerian athletes making significant impact in the NCAA circuit this season.
