Odey Responds To Transfer Speculation

Nigeria International and FC Randers Stephen Odey has responded to the transfer speculations surrounding his future this summer, BSNsports.com.ng has gathered.

The former MFM FC of Lagos striker joined the Danish league side last summer from the Belgium Jupiler club RKC Genk after a successful loan spell with French Ligue 2 club Amiens SC.

Rumours emanated from the media section a few days ago that Odey might be moving to the Scottish Premier League teams after both Rangers and Celtic indicated interest in his services.

"Rumour can spread quickly but it's not something I don't want to be distracted by, my agent takes care of everything that may be around the transfer market.

"I'm not trying to think about it.

"The important thing for me as a player is to focus on the preparations for the new season," he said.
