Former Secretary General of the Confederation of African Football, Véron Mosengo-Omba, has officially submitted his candidacy for the presidency of the Fédération Congolaise de Football Association, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

Mosengo-Omba, who previously served as one of the most influential administrators within African football, is seeking to lead the football governing body in the Democratic Republic of Congo. 

His decision to enter the race signals a significant development in the upcoming electoral process within FECOFA.
