Official Mascot For 2026 Commonwealth Games Unveiled

The organisers of the 2026 Commonwealth Games have officially unveiled Finnie as the event's official mascot, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

Finnie was inspired by Scotland's national animal, the unicorn, a mythical creature that has long been associated with the country's history, heritage and identity.

The unveiling marks another key milestone in the build-up to the 2026 Commonwealth Games, with Finnie expected to play a central role in promoting the Games, engaging fans and welcoming athletes from across the Commonwealth.

The mascot will feature prominently throughout the tournament, appearing at official events, community programmes and fan activities leading up to and during the Games. 

Organisers believe Finnie will help capture the spirit of the competition while celebrating Scotland's rich culture and traditions.
