Okoye To Undergo Surgery

Italian Serie A side Udinese has stated that Nigeria's Super Eagles goalkeeper Maduka Okoye will undergo surgery to correct his injured wrist, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

The young goalkeeper sustained the injury during Udinese's game against Genoa.

The club confirmed that the Nigerian International will miss the trip to Monza on Monday evening.

" Maduka Okoye has torn the scapholunate ligament in his right wrist following a trauma".

" He will have surgery to repair the ligament in the next few days", the club said.

The extent Okoye will stay on the sideline is yet to be determined.
