Olise Finally Dumps Nigeria For France

Bayern Munich winger Michael Olise has finally dashed the hope of Nigeria getting him in the future, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

Olise is eligible to represent 4 different countries including Nigeria, Algeria, France and England. He was born in England to a Nigerian father and a French-Algerian mother. Olise played for the French U18 team before he finally represented them at the Paris Olympic Games. His performance during the Olympics has earned him a call-up to the Les Bleus ahead of the Nations League next week. Making their debut in the competition will automatically eclipse the chance of him playing for the Super Eagles. Olise was named as a standby for the Nigeria squad taking part in their Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers against Benin and Lesotho in 2022 by the former coach Gernot Rohr.
