Oliseh Backs Eguavoen For Permanent Super Eagles Role

Sunday Oliseh has declared his support for the interim Super Eagles coach Austin Eguavoen to get the role permanently, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

Despite leading the team to the 2025 African Cup of Nations qualification, the results recorded during the last round of qualifiers have cast doubt on his capacity to handle the team.

" Austin Eguavoen is a smart guy; he is not stupid, and I also want to say that he has my full support".

" He is somebody I struggled with, bringing glory to our fatherland, he is an honest and decent guy".

" Furthermore, he is my compatriot, so he has my full support", he said.
