Oliseh Excited With Bassey, Iwobi Progress at Fulham Ahead AFCON

Former Super Eagles coach and player, Sunday Oliseh said he is impressed with the performance of Calvin Bassey and Alex Iwobi for Fulham ahead of the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations, AFCON, BSNSports.com.ng reports. 

The former Nigerian international hailed the duo for putting up an impressive performance against Arsenal in the English Premier League. 

According to him: "I'm extremely impressed by the maturity and discipline put up versus Arsenal, by Calvin Bassey and Alex Iwobi as they played decisive roles in Fulham's victory - over a seemingly, mentally tired Arsenal. Encouraging for the AFCON. Una do well."

Bassey and Iwobi, who have been instrumental for their side in the league will team up with the rest of the Super Eagles players ahead of the AFCON in Ivory Coast.
