Sampson Adedeji

Nigeria’s senior women’s national team, the Super Falcons, will face either Sudan or Comoros in the second round of the qualifiers for the 2028 Los Angeles Olympic Games, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

This follows the release of the official draw by the Confederation of African Football (CAF), which outlined the pathway for teams vying for a place at the global showpiece.

In the first round, Sudan will take on Comoros, with the winner advancing to meet the Super Falcons in the next stage of the qualification series.

The second-round fixtures are scheduled to be played between October 5 and October 13, 2026, as Nigeria begins its quest to secure a spot at the Olympic Games.

The Super Falcons, one of Africa’s most successful women’s teams, will be aiming to navigate past their yet-to-be-determined opponents and move closer to another Olympic appearance.
