Olympic Qualifier: Falconets Star Gets Late Call-Up To Super Falcons Camp

Ahead of the 2024 Olympic Games qualifier, Falconets midfielder Esther Onyenezide has been handed a late call-up to the Super Falcons camp, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

The Nigeria Football Federation last week released the list of the invited players for the game against Ethiopia.

The invited players are expected to resume camp in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia by Tuesday to commence preparations for the game.

The FC Robo Queens player revealed her invitation to the Super Falcons camp via her social media handle where she also promised to give her best.

"Excited to announce that I've been invited to join Nigeria's senior women's national team!  

"It's an honour to represent my country and wear green and white. 

"Can't wait to give it my all and make Nigeria proud against Ethiopia! ", she said.

Onyenezide is not new to the Falcons camp, she was part of the team preparatory games before the 2023 FIFA World Cup in Australia and New Zealand.
