Olympic Qualifier: Super Falcons Debut Excites Ajakaiye

Former Falconet forward Opeyemi Ajakaiye has expressed her happiness after making her debut for the Super Falcons, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

Falcons held its host Ethiopia to a 1-1 draw in the first leg of the second round of the Paris 2024 Olympic Games qualifier in Addis Ababa.

Ajakaiye was introduced into the second half as the game ended in a goalless draw.

"Happy to have earned my 1st senior cap for Nigeria Super Falcons . I appreciate everyone for the support since my youth ranks. 

"Wearing the Nigeria colours will always be cherished in my heart. 

My future is in God’s hands. 

"Let’s get the job done next week in Abuja", she said.
