Nigeria’s Super Falcons will discover their opponents in the qualification race for the 2028 Los Angeles Olympic Games on Wednesday, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

The draw for the African qualifying phase of the women’s football tournament has been scheduled to take place on Wednesday, April 29, 2026, at the headquarters of the Confederation of African Football in Cairo, Egypt.

The ceremony will determine the pathway for Africa’s representatives as teams across the continent compete for a place at the 2028 Olympic Games in Los Angeles, United States.

Nigeria’s Super Falcons, one of Africa’s most successful women’s national teams, are expected to be among the top contenders in the qualifiers as they aim to secure a return to the Olympic stage.
