Association Sportive de la Vallée de l'Ouémé (ASVO) FC new signing Anthony Omaka says he has the experience to help his new team win silverware, as he expressed his delight playing under new manager Fatai Osho, reports BSNSports.com.ng. Omaka, a combative former Kwara United midfielder who won the Player of the Match award in the ASVO FC game against KASAM FA of Ilorin at the Optima Energy Gold Cup, told the media. "It feels amazing and it has been my dream growing up to play outside the shores of Nigeria. "It is also nice, as I now have the chance to play under one of the best Nigerian coaches, Fatai Osho. "The ASVO FC project is good and won't come easy, but with all hands on deck, we can help the club achieve its goals. "I know that there are better players and experienced ones in the Benin Premier League; I am bonding well with my fellow countrymen and Beninese in the team. "I'm here to compete at the highest level, show my quality and give my strong performances in matches when the season finally kicks off." After spending two weeks on a preseason tour of Ikenne, Omaka and his ASVO FC team will return to Benin on Wednesday next week to intensify their preparations for the upcoming season.
