Newly acquired Nigerian star Joy Omewa has expressed her excitement and determination to make an immediate impact at Nottingham Forest Women, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

The Women’s Super League side confirmed the signing of the Nigerian international on Tuesday, completing her move from Danish outfit Fortuna Hjørring.

Speaking after putting pen to paper, Omewa described the move as a major step in her career and highlighted her eagerness to contribute to the club’s ambitions.

“I am delighted to sign for Nottingham Forest. It’s an ambitious club and I’m excited to be a part of this team,” Omewa said.

“I can’t wait to get started for this club and I think I can add a lot to an already talented group at Forest.”

Omewa’s arrival is expected to strengthen Forest’s squad as they push for success in the Women’s Super League, with the Nigerian international bringing valuable experience from her time in Denmark.
