One Nigerian Makes Selected Referees For 2025 CHAN Competition

Nigerian referees are gradually returning into the international reckoning as one of them got selected for 2024 Championship of African Nations, BSNSports.com.ng reports.
The Confederation of African Football on Thursday announced the final list of the selected referees, assistant referees and Video Assistant Referee for the upcoming competition.
Abdulsalam Kasim Abiola of Nigeria made the list of the 26 referees selected for the competition.
No Nigeria made the list of 25 officials for assistant referee and the country also missed out in the 14 VAR selected.
The competition will hold on the 1st to 28th of February in Kenya, Tanzania and Uganda.
