Onuachu Fires Trabzonspor Past Gaziantep FK

Nigeria’s Super Eagles striker Paul Onuachu was the match-winner on Sunday as Trabzonspor secured a hard-fought 2-1 away victory over Gaziantep FK, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

The home side took the lead in the 22nd minute through Mohammed, who capitalised on a defensive lapse to put Gaziantep FK in front.

However, Trabzonspor responded swiftly, drawing level just two minutes later through Felix Da Si to restore parity.

With momentum on their side, the visitors completed the turnaround in the 27th minute when Onuachu found the back of the net with a clinical finish to hand Trabzonspor the advantage.

The Nigerian forward’s decisive strike ultimately proved to be the winner, as Trabzonspor held on to claim maximum points on the road.

Onuachu has now taken his tally to 15 league goals for the season, underlining his importance to the Turkish side’s campaign.
