Despite making it to the team's bench last week against Eupen, RKC Genk boss Wouter Vrancken believes Super Eagles forward Paul Onuachu is 100 per cent fit, BSNsports.com.ng reports.

Onuachu has been out injured for quite some time but returned to the team a few days back and was on the team's bench last weekend.

As the club continue life after another Nigerian striker Cyril Dessers linked up with the Italian Serie A side Cremonese, the gaffer believed Onuachu is capable to recapture his old form provided the team can wade off the interests around him.

"In Paul Onuachu we have an experienced top striker, who has been scoring on the assembly line for several years, but is not yet 100 per cent fit, that is impossible after one full week of training.

"But of course, you also have to pay to get that rhythm. Mentally I see no problem with Paul, who works hard in training. Of course, he will still be open to a top transfer. But if the opportunity does not come, he will be full for Genk to keep going," he said.

Onuachu is expected to play a part on Sunday When Genk play away I Zulte Waregem.
