Nigerian striker Paul Onuachu continued his brilliant goal-scoring form as he found the back of the net in Trabzonspor’s dramatic 4-3 victory over Basaksehirspor in a thrilling Turkish Super Lig encounter on Monday evening, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

The pulsating clash at the Basaksehir Fatih Terim Stadium lived up to its billing with end-to-end action and late drama that kept fans on their feet until the final whistle.

Basaksehir took the lead through Davie Selke in the 22nd minute, but Trabzonspor responded as Felipe Augusto equalized in the 37th minute.

The hosts went into the break ahead after Eldor Shomurodov struck in the 45th minute to make it 2-1.

Trabzonspor returned for the second half pushing for a response, and their pressure paid off when Paul Onuachu leveled the score in the 76th minute, slotting home a composed finish to make it 2-2.

The goal was Onuachu’s ninth of the season, reinforcing his importance to the Black Sea Storm.

Just one minute later, Ernest Muci gave Trabzonspor their first lead of the day with a brilliant strike for 2-3.

But Basaksehir refused to surrender, and Yildirim equalized in the 90+1 minute to set up a tense finish at 3-3.

In the final seconds of the match, Muci emerged the hero once again, scoring deep into stoppage time (90+10’) to seal a remarkable 4-3 victory for Trabzonspor.

The win strengthens Trabzonspor’s push for a top-three finish, while Onuachu continues to enhance his reputation as one of the league’s most clinical forwards.

With nine goals already this season, the Super Eagles striker remains a key figure ahead of the 2025 AFCON preparations.
