Onuachu Sets New Records In Turkish League

Paul Onuachu is currently in top form at Trabzonspor, having scored six goals in just eight Turkish Super Lig matches, reports BSNSports.com.ng.

The Nigerian striker, who received the award for the best goal in the Turkish Super Lig for August, has made history by becoming the first player in the league to win this award for two consecutive months.

Onuachu achieved this milestone by winning the Süper Lig's best goal award for both August and September, thanks to his stunning bicycle kick goal against Fatih Karagümrük, whom Trabzonspor beat 4-3 away from home.

He also set a new record in world football for the highest overhead kick goal. Standing at 6 feet 8 inches tall, the 31-year-old executed an acrobatic finish that reached a height of 2.41 meters, surpassing Cristiano Ronaldo’s previous record of 2.38 meters.

Additionally, a report from SICS Sports, a leading sports data analytics firm, indicates that Onuachu is currently the top scorer in the Super Lig.

He has scored the most penalties (2), created the most chances, had the most shots that hit the post (2), and recorded the highest number of shots overall, as well as the most shots on target.
