Paul Onuachu etched his name into Nigeria’s football history after scoring the Super Eagles’ 150th goal at the Africa Cup of Nations, currently taking place in Morocco, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

The striker opened his account in the tournament in the 28th minute with a simple tap-in, capitalizing on a well-timed assist from Fisayo Dele-Bashiru. The goal not only marked a personal milestone for Onuachu but also underscored Nigeria’s attacking efficiency in the competition.

By halftime, debutants Igoh Ogbu and Ryan Alebiosu delivered assured performances, justifying their selection in Nigeria’s 23-man AFCON squad. Both players showed composure and tactical discipline, contributing positively to the team’s overall structure.

Nigeria have continued their flawless run in the group stage, recording victories in all their matches so far. The Super Eagles remain top of their group, maintaining a 100 percent record as they progress confidently into the latter stages of the tournament.
