Onwuzurike, Ashe Set For Wiesława Maniaka Memorial In Poland

Nigerian sprinters Udodi Onwuzurike and Favour Ashe are scheduled to compete at the Wiesława Maniaka Memorial in Poland on Wednesday, BSNSports.com.ng reports.
Onwuzurike will line up in the men’s 200m, where he is expected to face American sprinter Brandon Hicklin.
Meanwhile, Ashe will compete in the men’s 100m alongside Ghana’s Abdul-Rasheed Saminu, American Sam Blaskowski and Canadian Jerome Blake.
The meeting provides both Nigerians with another opportunity to test themselves against strong international opposition as they continue their preparations for the remainder of the athletics season.
Onwuzurike and Ashe remain among Nigeria’s leading sprint prospects, with both athletes targeting strong performances on the international circuit.
