Onwuzurike Clocks Season's Best 20.18s To Finish Third At Zagreb Meeting

Nigerian sprint sensation Udodi Onwuzurike produced his fastest 200m performance of the 2026 season after clocking a season's best time of 20.18 seconds at the Zagreb Meeting, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

The 22-year-old crossed the finish line in third place in a highly competitive race, improving on his previous best for the year and continuing his steady build-up ahead of upcoming international competitions.

Canadian star Andre De Grasse claimed victory with a time of 19.95 seconds, while Morocco's Yassine Hssine finished second in 20.00 seconds, setting a new Moroccan national record.

Onwuzurike's impressive run marks another positive step in his season as he continues to regain top form and strengthen his credentials among Nigeria's leading sprinters.
