Onyeamaechi Joins Olympiakos From Boavista

Bruno Onyeamaechi, Nigeria's Super Eagles defender and Boavista player, has completed a move to Greek Premier League club Olympiakos, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

Onyeamaechi enjoyed a standout season with Portuguese side Boavista, earning praise for his performances and attracting interest from top European clubs.

While Turkish club Trabzonspor showed significant interest in the defender, they were unable to agree on a transfer fee with Boavista.

However, Olympiakos struck a deal worth €2.5 million with the Portuguese club, and Onyeamaechi travelled to Greece over the weekend to undergo a medical.

On Monday, Olympiakos confirmed the signing, with the defender set to join his new teammates ahead of the club's next match.
