Onyeka Targets Promotion With Coventry City FC

Newly acquired Nigerian international Frank Onyeka has set his sights firmly on helping Coventry City FC secure promotion to the Premier League, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

Coventry City officially announced the arrival of the Super Eagles midfielder on loan from Premier League side Brentford, in what is seen as a major boost to the club’s promotion push.

Speaking after completing his move, Onyeka outlined his mentality and ambitions with the Sky Blues, describing himself as a combative midfielder ready to give everything for the team.

 “I’m a strong midfielder, I’m a winner and I always want to fight for my teammates,” Onyeka said.

"My aim is to give 100 percent, bring my experience and help the team get promoted to the Premier League.”

The 27-year-old brings top-flight experience to Coventry’s midfield, having featured regularly in the Premier League with Brentford, and is expected to play a key role as the club intensifies its promotion campaign.
