Onyekuru Meets Montella, Trains With Baloteli, Others

Henry Onyekuru is set to rejig his Super Eagles and club football career after he met with his new coach and Italian legend, Vincenzo Montella at Adana Demirspor Bolu Training Camp, reports BSNSports.com.ng.

The Nigerian who las featured for Nigeria under Franco-German Gernot Rohr, sealed a year loan move from Greek champions Olimpiacos, to the Turkish Super Lig club where he will spend the 2022-23 season.

Onyekuru is, however, no stranger to the Turkish Super Lig, having enjoyed three different loan spells at Galatasaray, was greeted by his former pal Badou Ndiaye when he arrived at the club's hotel on Monday.

At the training ground in Bolu, the Nigerian officially met the former Fiorentina manager and some of his new teammates.

The 25-year-old lifted the league and cup double with Galatasaray in 2019, wasted no time as he teamed up in training with the likes of Ndiaye and former Manchester City 'bad boy' Mario Balotelli.

Adana Demirspor who finished ninth in the Turkish first division last season, will play against three Italian teams of Napoli, Salernitana and Pescara Calcio in its training camp in Italy.
