Onyekuru Scores As Adana Demirspor Beat Giresunspor In Five-Goal Thriller

Adana Demirspor has won its opening game of the new Turkish Super Lig season with Henry Onyekuru opening his goal account with the club in a five-goal thriller, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

The Nigerian was on the goal scorer's sheet when he put the icing on the cake for his club as they defeated Giresunspor 3-2 away from home.

Adana Demirspor went into the break with a two-goal cushion via a brace from Inler in the 23rd and 28th minutes.

Belhanda in the 56th then started the come back for Giresunspor to make it 1-2 before Sinz levelled scores at 2-2 with eight minutes to end the tie.

Giresunspor's quest for a point in the game was dashed after Onyekuru turned the match winner when he pounced on a loose ball to score in added time. 

A delightful Vincenzo Montella said after his lads sealed the 3 points: "We worked very hard in recent periods and we happy to get the win. We have shown top-level game."
