Henry Onyekuru has got his Adana Demirspor future off in a brilliant start scoring his first pre-season goal, reports BSNSports.com.ng.

The Nigerian who joined Adana Demirspor on a season-long loan from Olympiacos with an option to buy, returns to the Turkish Super Lig for a fourth stint.

Recall the former Eupen, Everton and Monaco winger had three loan spells at giants Galatasaray. 

However, barely less than a week he started training with his new teammates, Onyekuru wasted no time to show his qualities registering his name on the goals scorer's sheet as Adana Demirspor beat Istanbulspor in a five-goal thriller at the end of the week.

With Adana Demirspor going into the break losing 1-2, the former Olympiacos attacking winger equalized with a sublime finish to make it 2-2 to the delight of him and his teammates.

The thrilling game was then sealed in the closing minutes of the encounter via a strike from Erhun Oztimer.

Onyekuru, 25-year-old, will next week jet out with the team on a tour of Italy. While in Italy, Adana Demirspor play against three Italian teams of Napoli, Salernitana and Pescara Calcio in its training camp.
