Super Falcons head coach, Randy Waldrum is excited with the attacking pairing of Desire Oparanozie and Asisat Oshoala in Friday international friendly match against Haiti, BSNSports.com.ng can report.

The nine time African champions defeated Haiti women's national team 2-1 in an international friendly in Antalya Turkey on Friday evening. Barcelona forward, Oshoala who scored Nigeria second goal in the 52nd minute and Oparanozie were on the pitch for Nigeria for the first under Waldrum. He said the Haitians were lucky not to have conceded a goal from their excellent combination in front of goal adding that Oparanozie will see more game time.

"The way Oshoala and Oparanozie combined together showed that they know each other very well and the Haitians were lucky not to have conceded a goal in the last 10 minutes of the match." He told NFF TV.

He added, "For that reason, we will see how she (Oparanozie) is going to fit in and play with the rest of team."

Super Falcons had suffered six consecutive defeats under the American tactician before a victory over Costa Rica and another 2-1 victory over Haiti in Friday game. The 2019 African champions will take on New Zealand in another warm up game ahead of the FIFA Women's World Cup next Tuesday.
