Ori Cream Is My Juju, says Ndidi

Super Eagles captain Wilfred Ndidi dismissed Jamie Vardy's suggestion that he and Kelechi Iheanacho relied on "juju cream" for quicker injury recovery during their time at Leicester City, BSNSports.com.ng has sourced on the social blogging app, Instagram.

Ndidi, who couldn't help but laugh at the claim, clarified that the so-called mysterious ointment is simply natural shea butter, known as Ori in local parlance.

He addressed the viral claims in a video on his Instagram on Monday, after Vardy joked that the duo often brought a special cream from Nigeria's "witch doctor" when they returned from visits home.

 "It’s ori (natural shea butter), and whenever we came back, he’d ask about it, and we’d say, ‘Oh! It’s from a witch doctor in Nigeria,” Ndidi explained humorously.

 "And when we offered to let him use it, he always declined, even when we told him it could help him score more goals.”
