Oriental Derby: Come Celebrate Our First NPFL Victory Against Enyimba - Boboye Begs Fans

New Technical Adviser of Heartland, Kennedy Boboye has called on the club's fans and supporters to troop out en masse to cheer the team to victory in the Oriental Derby with Enyimba, reports BSNSports.com.ng. 

The Naze Millionaires will trade tackles with the Aba warlords in another exciting Oriental Derby on Match Day 10 of the 2023/2024 Nigeria Premier Football League.

BSNSports.com.ng reports that the two-time NPFL champion with Plateau United and Akwa United is aiming to get his stint at the club on a winning note in the Oriental Derby. 

Speaking with Heartland FC Media, Boboye said he was aware of the onerous task before them and he has called on the club's fans and supporters to come to the stadium to celebrate the club's first victory of the season. 

Boboye disclosed his immediate target is to ensure that Heartland FC is out of the relegation zone.

"It is a derby game that we can't take away anything from. The most important thing is that with our current situation, only a win will help our cause. Everybody's hand is on deck to ensure we get the three points on Saturday," Boboye said.

"We need to move out of the position we are now. I want our fans to come out to Massee on Saturday. I am assuring them that they will come and celebrate their first win of the season. 

"I want to thank the fans for their patience with the team even when the team is not doing well. It is football and we are lucky to have our crisis now. We will overcome it."
